What is PUR Hot Melt Adhesive for Flat Lamination?
PUR is a 100% solid, moisture-curable reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive with no solvents, no moisture and no harmful substances. It melts into low-viscosity fluid at 120–160℃ for easy coating and application. Strong initial bonding is formed immediately after cooling. Subsequently, the active groups in the adhesive react with moisture in the air and on the substrate surface to form an irreversible cross-linked structure. It is fully cured within 24–72 hours to deliver high-strength permanent bonding.

Core Advantages for Flat Lamination
1. Excellent Bonding Performance
Powerful initial adhesion: Fast shaping within 30–60 seconds after lamination, effectively preventing rebound, edge warping and delamination of thick films such as PVC, PET, HPL and CPL.
Superior final strength: Fully cured bonding strength is far higher than ordinary EVA adhesives, with great resistance to peeling, cracking and shelling for long-term service.
Outstanding wetting and leveling: Moderate viscosity ensures even flat coating. No bubbles, glue marks or white edges on high-gloss boards, perfectly suitable for high-gloss flat lamination processes.
2. Great Weather & Corrosion Resistance, Wide Application
Wide temperature resistance: Stably withstands temperatures from -40℃ to 120℃, ideal for cabinets, bathroom products, balcony panels and outdoor boards.
Waterproof & moistureproof: Resists debonding in high-humidity environments, with boiling water resistance and mildew resistance, perfect for wet kitchen and bathroom scenarios.
Aging & chemical resistance: Anti-ultraviolet, oil-proof and resistant to daily detergent corrosion, greatly extending the service life of boards.
3. Eco-friendly & Export Compliant
100% solid content, zero VOC, zero formaldehyde and zero benzene substances. It meets international environmental protection standards. No harmful gas volatilization during construction and usage, ensuring a safer workshop environment and meeting global export testing requirements for furniture and building materials.
4. High Production Efficiency & Cost Reduction
Fast curing: Light handling is available right after lamination, and usable strength is achieved in 24 hours, matching high-speed automatic flat lamination production lines.
Lower coating dosage: 30%–50% less consumption than EVA glue, effectively reducing production cost per square meter.
High operation tolerance: Sufficient open time at room temperature reduces alignment errors of large boards. The adhesive shows great thermal stability in the melt tank, hardly carbonizing and lowering downtime and replacement loss.
